Our Therapeutics team uses this data to discover and develop novel medicines to treat important diseases. The team currently has research programs across several therapeutic areas, including oncology, skin, respiratory and cardiovascular disease.
We are seeking an innovative scientist with strong expertise in protein biochemistry, protein and antibody engineering, and molecular mechanism of action of biological pathways, experience in developing biologic and small molecule therapeutics and management skills to join a collaborative and cross-functional team responsible for delivering therapeutic candidates for unmet medical needs.

What you’ll do
- Contribute to target discovery programs by providing analysis of molecular pathways and drugging feasibility
- Contribute to target validation and therapeutic discovery by leading the protein engineering and protein biochemistry function and collaborating with project and cross-functional leaders
- Strategize a robust process to generate and characterize proteins to study the pathways of interest
- Collaborate and contribute to antibody discovery and characterization strategies
- Contribute to strategies to grow and enhance protein science capabilities and technologies
- Document and communicate experimental results and project updates to team members and senior staff
- Manage and mentor less experienced team members and develop their capabilities
- Ph.D. with 10+ years of research experience in Molecular Biology, Protein Engineering, Structural Biology or related field or M.S. degree with 12+ years of industry R&D experience
- Proven track record of accomplishments via high quality publications including patent applications
- Expertise in protein biochemistry, protein purification, biochemical/biophysical and biological characterization of cellular mechanisms
- Highly analytical with critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Proven experience with mentoring and managing direct reports, enabling their career development and growth
- Experience working on cross-functional teams, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
