23andMe is looking for an Operations Project Manager to join our growing team! You will be responsible for managing multiple cross-functional projects within the various business segments of 23andMe. This includes operational support of projects led by our Therapeutics, Product, and Research teams. It also includes end-to-end leadership of integrated Supply Chain improvement projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Gain a deep understanding of the 23andMe Supply Chain and Operations Systems and help identify opportunities to more effectively support our internal partners in Therapeutics, Product, and Research. 
  • Develop project proposals and plans to ensure the 23andMe Supply Chain is continually improving in key areas of cost, quality, and speed. 
  • Obsess over planning, coordination, and simplifying complex problems to a critical path. Lead and influence cross-functional teams of internal and external subject matter experts to execute projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop, standardize, and document our approach to project management within the 23andMe Supply Chain. In conjunction with the 23andMe PM guild, help educate and train other Supply Chain team members on best practices. 
  • Effectively communicate status reports on key projects including progress toward key metrics and outcomes. Identify key risks early and develop effective mitigation plans.

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree in Business or Operations Management, Supply Chain, Product Development or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of project or program management experience. PMP certification a plus.
  • Working knowledge and experience of quality management systems in an ISO or GMP environment
  • Experience in project budgeting, practical business modeling and/or financial modeling.
  • Advanced skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smart Sheets, JIRA, CODA, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with success in working across organizations at all levels.
  • Self-starter with high tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead within a matrix organization and to manage multiple organizational interfaces and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in large project management role including development and
    deployment, preferably healthcare, or closely related is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with success in working across organizations at all levels.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
