Front-End Web Developer Intern

Software engineering students of all levels wanted for our Front-End Web Developer Intern opportunity! Come join us in our mission to be the world's trusted source of personal genetic information.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on our high traffic public website. You’ll work within a small, fast-paced team that has a mix of veteran engineers and recent graduates to work on a variety of tasks.

Internships will be offered for 12 weeks for the Summer. Consideration for Fall semester too.

What you’ll do

You’ll be involved in technical SEO optimizations, including: page load speed, internal linking, schema, url paths, meta tags, etc. Also, you will be troubleshooting technical issues, design and implement new features, participate in our product development process, and write unit and functional tests.

What you’ll bring

You’re pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related major.  You are interested in front-end technologies and proficient with HTML5 and CSS3. Interest in technical aspects of SEO and some knowledge of responsive design and javascript frameworks/libraries like React. Ability to deliver high quality work.
